Avery's 3rd birthday isn't until Tuesday but it appears she has decided to skip 3 all together and head straight for 13. At least attitude wise, which is both highly amusing and highly irritating. A quick example:
Yesterday we were at Ama's house, Avery was being naughty - fighting with her sister, telling me no, the usual - so I told her to go to time out. She turned around, looked at me and said with as much disdain as she could muster:
"They don't have that HERE!"
Maybe Ama and Papa don't have time out, but Avery was sad to learn that time out can exist wherever her Mommy does.

Seriously...I hear about how tweens are the new teens, but no one talks about how these girls develop the SASS in their toddler years! Brighton's attitude makes me terrified for her teenage years.
