Ella and Riley's Birthday Extravaganza

Ella and her cousin Riley are 1 year and 4 days apart. Since they have birthdays so conveniently close together, we have been having joint parties for the past couple of years. Unlike all those other years however, I actually brought a camera this year and took 1 million pictures. Get ready!!!

 The cute birthday girls!

Time for presents!!! Ella got a bunch of painting supplies from Uncle Hank and Aunt Kelly which have already been put to great use!

Riley got some cute clothes that Ella picked out for her - luckily they seem to have the same taste :)

These presents were suspiciously the same exact size.

Ella went first and it was the jewelry making set that Riley REALLY WANTED! You can tell by her sad face she is pretty jealous. She said, "I better get one of those too!"

Imagine that - exactly the same thing! Is Grandma Kathy smart or what?!?!?

She also knows Ella very well - she got her an Eiffel Tower jewelry stand!

Avery and Bryson were pretty disappointed that none of the presents were for them, but not so disappointed that we couldn't make them give each other kisses!

Then it was time for cake! The traditional Johanknecht Birthday Cake!

And it was delicious as always!

Bryson liked it!

He really really liked it!!!

So did Avery!

A giant piece of cake later, the birthday girls got a little crazy, of course they wanted their sillyness to be photographed!

Then some nice relaxing coloring with Grandma Kathy to end the party on a somewhat calmer note.

It was so fun! We are lucky the girls have birthdays so close together and get along so well, I think we should do a joint party every year!!!
