Chicken and Noodles
Aaron has been inventing dinner recipes lately. When it is his weekend, he likes to cook something special for dinner with his helpers. This week he made chicken and noodles - from scratch! It was so so yummy, it reminded me of something my Grandma Ida used to make.

Or getting messy:
Avery is in charge of watching and looking adorable.
It was a very labor intensive process, with mixing and kneading and rolling and cutting:
But it all came together and turned into noodles! It was amazing!!!
But exhausting so the girls took a break to play with dolls.
I didn't take a picture of the finished product because I was too busy eating it all. And so was Avery, she ate more than me! The next night Aaron made white bean soup with ham (also extra delicious) and when it was my night to cook I made macaroni and cheese with tiny hot dogs and broccoli. In my defense, it is Ella's favorite dinner ever :)
