Heat Wave

We have been having some surprisingly hot weather up here lately! I'm talking in the 80's which is very unusual (some record days this week) and compared to last summer, when we had only two days that went above 70, it is fantastic!!!

So to cool off and celebrate the weather we got a swimming pool!

Ella loves it!

Avery has not been a big fan. The first day, when I dipped her toe in she screamed like a maniac. The second day, the same thing. The third day, when it was 80 degrees AND she had a fever I just got into the pool with her and held her until she got used to it (no pictures of that!)

But she does look adorably chubby in her swimming suit!
